Get ready to make an interactive tiny journal with me! We will take this adorable bound notebook and add pockets, tip ins, tags, and windows in this 2 1/2-hour class. The first part of the class will be step by step as we create these features and then we will decorate several pages.
There will be a bonus wax seal station for you to make and add in your wax seal. You will have time to play with the stickers, washi, and stamps provided but feel free to bring your own favorite goodies as well. You will need to bring scissors, adhesive, a craft knife and cutting mat. Can’t wait to see you there!

Hobonichi Hon Watercolor Class with Carol Steele
Join us for part 2 of “What can I do with my extra Hobonichi pages?”
Think outside of the box and learn something new! In this class we will make 4-6 quick (emphasis on quick!) watercolor sketches using our A6 Hobonichi books! If you have one from the previous class, bring yours! If not, or you want a second Hon, it’s your last chance to score an A6 Hon for a great discount (retail price at $55)! After sketching our thumbnails in our Hobonichi book, we will play with watercolor and Microns to create another effect. In this class we are going to learn to do a 3-hole pamphlet stitch to create an Ephemera/Flake Sticker Holder. Once you learn this binding technique, you can create so many of your own journals! Birds Shadowbox Class with Debby Newman
Come create a lovely little spring Shadowbox featuring Bird Images! We will learn to paint a crackle finish. We will also learn how to make the dimensional paper layer in the box and then create a nest on top and add decorations inside and on top.
The finished size is 4 ½” square. Notice, we have planned an extra ½ hour of class time to allow time for paint/mediums to dry between coats.

Hi I'm Farrel Tailor. I am from Australia and love travelling the world teaching my classes. I am a lover of all things mixed media.
My passion is altered art, art journaling and off the page projects. My crafting journey did start 18 years ago with scrapbooking layouts.
I am a mixed media teacher for Stamperia, an amazing international crafting company and recently had the opportunity to co design my very first paper collection Songs of the Sea.
I love teaching technique-based classes which has blessed me with teaching internationally. I have taught at retreats, craft shows, scrapbooking stores and on cruise ships. I also take part in the Stamperia Lives once or twice a month.

Art Journal Book and Pages with Farrel Tailor
In this class the students will receive an A6 art journal book and we will be covering the front and back plus 5 pages. They will be using stencils, rub-ons, rice paper and mediums.
Students will need to bring:
Basic tool kit will be required – nonstick craft mat, baby wipes, spray bottle with water, scissors, glue, paint brushes, foam blending tool used for brown ink pad (ink pads will be provided) and a heat gun.

Adventure Book Box with Farrel Tailor
In this class the students will be assembling and altering a 7.5 x 5.5 inch book box which has a drawer that pulls out.
****This class will require the use of Turpentine so if the students a sensitive to smell, it
might not suit them.****
